Vaccines save lives. Misinformation costs them.

As one of the greatest public health achievements in history, vaccines have prevented more than 150 million deaths in the past 50 years. Yet mistrust continues to spread faster than medicine itself. From social media myths to political scepticism, misinformation fuels fear and leaves communities unprotected.

Research shows that real stories told by real people are among the most effective ways to build vaccine confidence.

Mimi's Story.

Our short documentary for the World Health Organization’s ‘Immunization Heroes’ campaign follows Mimi, a midwife who traverses land and sea to deliver life-saving vaccines to remote communities, continuing the legacy of her mother, Nurse Rabiah.

Travelling across challenging terrain with only a cool box to preserve doses, Mimi’s dedication highlights the vital role of frontline health workers in protecting the world’s most vulnerable.

Filmed across the Pangkajene and Islands Regency in South Sulawesi, the production marked the first-ever Indonesian film permit granted to a UAE-based production company. Working alongside local crews, our team captured the courage and humanity that define the daily reality of healthcare workers like Mimi, reminding us that progress begins with people.
